Hellers Free Farmed bacon is made from 100% New Zealand hand selected pork making sure the bacon delivers on taste, texture and appearance every time. The bacon with its own special low yield cure and great smoke ensures that it delivers on its promises. It can be used in a variety of dishes and cooks great whether it is grilled or fried.
The Free Farmed range is sourced from selected New Zealand farms. The Sows are outdoors and once weaned, the piglets are raised in barns with no crates or stalls and are free to move around. No hormones are used and regular independent animal welfare audits are carried out.
