The Nuremberg styled bratwurst is one of the most popular varieties in Germany and as its name suggests, originated in Nuremberg. This traditional German pork based sausage is often grilled or roasted and best served with potato salad or sauerkraut.

Hellers Nuremberg is made from 100% Pork and flavoured with the more traditional notes of pepper and marjoram. It also has subtle flavour overtones of ginger, nutmeg and caraway. Filled into a long thin casing for the complete European experience with a Kiwi twist.

Cooking instructions

Hellers Nuremberg is best cooked by frying, grilling or barbecuing on a medium heat turning often until the outside is golden brown. Juices should run clear.

Serving suggestion

Great served up with the traditional German cuisine - potato salad, sauerkraut and a crusty dinner roll. A nice cold lager would wash this down well.
