Chicago Style Hotdogs
InstructionsPreheat oven grill to medium hot. Wrap bacon around each frankfurter and secure each end with a toothpick. Toss onion rings in a small amount of olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Place bacon wrapped frankfurters and onion rings onto an oven tray and grill. Turn onion rings each time you turn the frankfurters until bacon is crispy - approximately 10 minutes. Remove toothpicks and place frankfurters and onion rings into a warmed split hotdog bun. Top with diced tomato, yellow peppers and add sauces as desired. |
