The New Yorker Hotdog

Ingredients
6 each Hellers Beef Frankfurters gently boiled until heated through
6 each hotdog buns split lengthways
2 medium brown onions, sliced thinly
1 cups horseradish mustard
2 cups roasted red peppers, diced
Squirty bottles Your favourite Ketchup

Instructions

Preheat oven to 150°C.

To cook the onions:
Gently sautée sliced onions in butter in a non-stick frying pan for approximately 10 minutes until soft and golden.

To make the horseradish mustard:
Take 1 cup of your favourite yellow mustard and add 4 tbsp of horseradish sauce and mix well.

Roasted red peppers:
You can buy these from the service deli at the supermarket or in jars off the shelf. Slice them into 1 cm strips.

Warm buns in oven for 5 minutes.

To assemble hotdog:
Place ingredients into the warmed split bun in the order listed above.
